What is Verito App Manager?
Verito_AppManager is a small utility on your desktop. It gives you a way to close an application when it freezes or stops responding — without needing to call support.
You'll find the shortcut on your desktop labeled Verito_AppManager.
Important:
Closing an application this way is a force-close. That means:
- Any unsaved work in that application will be lost.
- Save your work before using Verito_AppManager whenever possible.
- Only use this tool when an application has frozen and you can't close it the normal way
How to use it:
1. Double-click the Verito_AppManager icon on your taskbar.

2. The window opens in the ‘Running’ tab and shows only the applications currently open on your end.

3. Click the red Close button next to the specific app that's frozen.
Signing out of the server
The Sign Out tile (at the bottom of the main window) closes all your open applications and logs you off the server.
The Exit button
The green Exit button at the bottom just closes the Verito_AppManager window. It does not close any of your tax applications and does not log you out. Use it whenever you're done with the tool itself.
Need more help?
If you run into anything you're not sure about, or if the tool doesn't behave the way this guide describes, please send an email to support@verito.com.
Please include:
- Which application you were trying to close
- What you saw on screen (a screenshot is great)
- The date and approximate time it happened
This helps us look up the logs and figure out what went wrong quickly.
