TSScan is a remote desktop scanning solution that allows you to use local scanners within your Verito-hosted environment. Installing the TSScan Client ensures that you can easily scan documents from your local machine to applications hosted on Verito's cloud. Follow the steps below to install and set up TSScan on your system.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Log Out of Your Verito Cloud Desktop

Before installing TSScan, ensure that you are logged out of your Verito-hosted desktop to prevent installation conflicts.

Step 2: Download the TSScan Client

• Visit the official TSScan download page or use this link to download.
• Click on the download link to begin the process.
• Save the file to a known location, such as the Downloads folder.

Step 3: Run the Installer

• Locate the downloaded file (usually named TSScan_Client.exe).
• Double-click on the file to launch the installation wizard.
• If prompted by the User Account Control (UAC), click Yes to allow changes to your computer.

Step 4: Select Language and Accept License Agreement

• Choose your preferred language and click OK.
• Read the End User License Agreement.
• Select I accept the agreement, then click Next.

Step 5: Installation Process

• The setup wizard will provide an overview of TSScan features—click Next to continue.
• Select the destination folder where the TSScan Client will be installed (default is recommended).
• Click Next, then Install to start the installation.

Step 6: Complete the Installation

• Once the installation finishes, click Next.
• Click Finish to complete the process.

Using TSScan in Verito Cloud

Once installed, TSScan will automatically integrate with your Verito-hosted desktop. When scanning documents, you will have several scanning options within your hosted applications:

• TSScan Default: Sends scanned documents directly to your default scanner.
• TSScan Select Scanner: Allows you to choose a specific local scanner.
• TSScan PDF: Saves the scanned document as a PDF file for easy sharing.

To scan within the Verito environment:

• Open your desired application within Verito Cloud.
• Select the Scan option.
• Choose the TSScan option that fits your needs.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the scanning process.
