          Introduction

          ·        Purpose: To guide users on how to map local drives in Remote Desktop for easy access to files from their local computer during an RDP session.

          Steps to Map Local Drives

          1.     Open Remote Desktop Settings

          o   Locate the Verito RDP profile on your desktop.

                                                               

          o   Right-click on the profile and select "Edit."

          2.     Enable Drive Redirection

          o   Navigate to the "Local Resources" tab.

          o   Under "Local Drives and Resources," click on the "More" button.

          o   Expand the "Drives" section and check the boxes for the local drives you wish to access.

                                                                   

          3.     Save Your Settings

          o   Return to the "General" tab.

                                                                    

          o   Click on the "Save" button to apply your settings before closing the window.

          4.     Connect to Remote Desktop

          o   Double-click your Verito RDP profile to initiate the connection.

          o   Once connected, open File Explorer and click on "This PC. 

          o   Your local drives will appear under "Redirected Drives in Folders."

          5.     Transfer Files

          o   You can now copy files between your local computer and your RDP session as needed.
