Use this article if: you have received a Verito welcome email with an RDP profile attached and are connecting to Verito from a Windows computer for the first time.
How long this takes: 5 to 10 minutes.
What you'll need
● Your Windows PC.
● The Verito welcome email containing the RDP profile attachment and your login credentials.
What to do
1. Download your RDP profile
Open the welcome email from Verito. Download the RDP profile file attached to it and save it somewhere easy to find, such as your Desktop or Downloads folder.

The RDP profile file after downloading — this is what you double-click to connect.
2. Open the RDP profile
Double-click the RDP file. Windows will show a security warning about the remote connection — this is expected.
To skip this prompt next time, tick Don't ask me again for connections to this computer, then click Connect.

The security warning shown the first time you open the RDP profile — click Connect to proceed.
3. Enter your credentials
When the Windows Security window appears, enter the username and password from your welcome email. Tick Remember me if you want to skip this step in future. Click OK.

Enter the username and password from your Verito welcome email.
4. Adjust connection settings (optional)
You can customise the connection before launching. The most common changes:
● Redirect your local printers and clipboard so they work inside Verito.
● Enable multi-monitor support if you use more than one screen.
The default settings work for most people. You can skip this step.
5. You're connected
Your Verito desktop will appear. From here you can open your applications, work with files, and use the platform normally.

Next time: double-click the RDP file, enter your password if prompted, and you're in.
You should now see
Your Verito desktop, with your applications and files accessible.
Things to keep in mind
Security: Only use the RDP profile from your official Verito welcome email. If you receive an RDP file from anywhere else claiming to be Verito, contact us before opening it.
Note: The security warning on first launch is expected. Once you confirm the connection works, tick "Don't ask me again" to skip it next time.
If that didn't work
Common issues:
● The RDP file won't open or shows an error: make sure you downloaded the file directly from the welcome email, not from a forwarded message or screenshot.
● Password not accepted: check that Caps Lock is off and that you are using the password from the original welcome email.
● Stuck on the security warning: click Show Details to confirm the remote computer name matches the one in your welcome email, then click Connect.
If you are still stuck, contact Verito Support:
