FTC Compliance Assessment — Client Portal Guide

Overview

As part of your FTC Safeguards Rule compliance assessment, you will need to answer a series of questions in the Compliance Manager portal. This guide walks you through the process step by step — from logging in for the first time to completing all required assessments.

Getting Started

1. Check your email. You should have received an invitation email similar to the screenshot below. Locate Link 1 in the email and click it to begin the setup process. 
   
2. Enter your username or email address. After clicking the link, you'll be taken to a login page. Enter the username or email address you used when signing up. 
   
3. Reset your password. You will receive a second email containing a "Reset Password" link (referred to here as Link 2). Click it and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new password.
   
   
4. Log in with your new password. Once your password has been reset, click "Back to Login" and sign in. You can also access the portal directly here:

5. Select your company. After logging in, you'll see your company name on the screen. Click on it to open your company's site page, then click the site name to proceed. 
   
   
6. Review the dashboard. The portal will display your dashboard, which contains three assessment sections that require your input:
   • Rapid Baseline Assessment
   • Control Assessment
   • Requirements Assessment

7. Answer each question. Open each assessment section and work through the questions one at a time. For each question, select the option that best describes your current situation, then click "Next" to continue. Repeat this process until you have completed all questions in all three sections.
